Introduction 2BHK Housing Scheme

The government has pledged to gradually provide two-bedroom houses to all the homeless and low-income families in the state through the two-bedroom houses programme.

Each house has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms (2BHK). The District Collectors and Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, have issued the following instructions to conduct the programme.

Telangana Government’s flagship programme, 2 BHK Housing Scheme, aims to provide affordable 2 BHK houses to eligible beneficiaries in the state.

 2BHK Telangana Awas Yojana Housing Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

• Homeless People
• People who are staying in Huts
• Telangana Resident only
• Low income people
• Only one house application in family
• No one in the applicant family already sanctioned in any are
• People who are residing on rental houses and do not have own house

 2BHK Telangana Awas Yojana Housing Scheme Required Documents :

1. Bank Passbook
2. Passport size photo
3. Income Proof of applicant
4. Voter ID card of applicant
5. Community Certificate of applicant
6. Valid Ration Card / Food Security Card
7. Aadhar card of applicant and family members
8. PMAY/2BHK housing application (Available at Meeseva)

• Step 1: Keep all the above documents handy (photocopies only)
• Step 2: Walk to any MiSeva center near you
• Step 3: Show all documents once
• Step 4: Ask for the application form
• Step 5: Fill the application and attach a photograph
• Step 6: Give all the documents to the service operator
• Step 7: They enter all the details in the online portal
• Step 8: After completion, he will give you the receipt of the online application along with all the documents you have provided.
• Step 9: Take a snapshot of the receipt for future reference
• Step 10: Submit it at your Mandal Tahsildar office
